Celebrate the Season With Crafts! With the holidays just around the corner, what better way to celebrate the treasured holiday season than with hand-made items for your home or loved ones? This September and October, the Craft & Hobby Association (CHA) urges you to get a head start on holiday craft projects during the 6th annual Celebrate the Season promotion. From mid-September through October, retail craft stores around the country will be holding special activities, events, hands-on workshops and demonstrations, all focusing on holiday themed crafts. Whether it’s Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah or Kwanzaa, Celebrate the Season is the perfect opportunity to learn about the products and techniques available to give your favorite holiday that special touch. Both experienced and novice crafters can discover new ways to express their creativity through crafting. The national promotion will hold a special in-store event entitled, Celebrate the Season Day on Saturday, September 30th. Participating stores will dedicate the entire day to individual craft activities, seasonal projects and family fun. “Crafting is an enjoyable way to create unique, memorable gift and decorative items for the upcoming holiday season,” stated Terri Ouellette, National Spokesperson for the Craft & Hobby Association. “The Celebrate the Season promotion is the perfect opportunity for everyone to visit their local craft store to discover what’s new and exciting in the world of holiday crafting.”
